I sending my car for service today at service centre close to my house. This time I change the engine oil and the oil filter. It cost me about RM120.00. I use March 5 lubricant oil for my engine.
I also use proton original parts fr my oil filter.
As you know, to make my proton car running smoothly, I regularly change the engine oil for every 5,000 kilometer. So my car run nice on the road. In the market there a lot of engine oil. We can choose from semi synthetic engine oil to fully synthetic engine oil.
Full synthetic engine oil was made from special blend, so that this engine oil can last for 10,000km. However the price is very expensive for me. Therefore I always used semi synthetic engine oil.

Perodua launching new special edition Myvi
Yesterday Perodua launching a special edition of Perodua Myvi SE. This new car with a new image and look more aggressive is targeting young generation market. I have heard a lot about Perodua Myvi. It is the most seller able car in Malaysia today.
What about proton ?.Yup proton back to same selling strategy, because this year Malaysia will celebrating 50 years of independence, proton were offering it's old model Proton Saga at a very discounted price !. I think about RM26,000.00. !. Is this proton right strategy ?.
I think mmm... it's not. Now a days proton are losing its market share to the competitors. I know for sure it is because the quality of car they produce !. The proton car that not meet the consumer satisfaction. Yes I know that from my own experience.
Therefor , with the increase of fuel prices and the very good offer from Perodua Myvi, I thinking changing my proton Waja to Perodua Myvi !. However I also aware that in the market today there a lot of products that can be used to reduce the fuel consumption of one's car.
Sometimes they call this products as fuel saver. I think should used a fuel saver rather than buying a new car. Fuel save can comes in many ways. Some fuel saver product need you to add that special chemical at certain amount when you refueling the gas or petrol or diesel.
Other fuel saving product, need to be fitted to your car. This look like car booster and it will give more power to your car, while consuming less fuel.

Tinted Window
My car has a tinted glass window. People said that once you tinted your window, your car be more cooler and this can save a lot of petrol when you using an air conditions while driving your car.
This is true. How ever when you want to tinted your car window, please choose a good quality products because if you are using low quality tinted film, you have trouble in the future because this film have tendency to crack or even peel off by the time.
Today there is a new type of tinted available in the market. One of them is using nanotechnology such as liquid coating on the window glass thus giving a good protection for sunlight and other harmful rays such as UV rays.
This type of film coating will not crack or peel of by the time because with the nanotechnology, the coating will bind and stick to the car window glass properly and effectively. I personally recommend this type of tinted.

Washing my car
Today I send my car for washing at Car wash near my house. Some times keeping a car is like taking care of your self. You have to wash and polish your car to keep it clean and shining.
There are a lot of car care products in the market today such as car shampoo, car polish and car wax. Once a month, I wax my car using turtle wax. This waxing give good look and it also protecting your car.
So make sure your car look good, always wash and wax your car.

Car Starter
In November last year on my way to work place, I stop at petrol station to buy some sweets. When I try to start my car, I found that the car cannot be started....mmmm. The fist thing that come to my mind, is that this is something to do with the car battery.
May be the batteries already dead because since I bought the car , I haven't replace the batteries yet. So I when back to the petrol station and buy a new batteries. I ask from the petrol boy to replace the battery for me.
After they replace the battery, the car still cannot start !...mmm this must be a serious problem. So I asked the petrol boy what to do. He told me that he can call a workshop nearby. I'm agree with that suggestion.
When the mechanic came, he told me that the car was jamm. He need to check it. So the car has to tow to his workshop..
At the workshop his boss told me that the car's engine was jamm..and I need to do the overhaul !...this will cause me a lot of money. However his mechanic insist that this is the car starter problem.
He just need to change the car starter. So he replace the car starter and finally my car can be started again...and it is not the engine problem !..However it took me 3 hours to replace the car starter and cost me RM550.0
So if you drive a proton waja, if you encounter the same problem check your car starter. The car starter my be jamm. The car starter is a machine that start the ignition of your car when you turn on the car key switch .

So when driving and your car have a problem ask the trusted and sincere mechanic, if not they can charge you a lot of things than unnecessarily.

After the ignition, the fly wheel in the car starter will draw back to the car starter. In my case, the car starter fly wheel can draw back and its stuck between the ignition. Thus will stuck the engine pulley and it will look like the engine have the problem. Which actually is not.

My gear stuck !
On 11 February I driving my waja to work. After passing a traffic light, I try to shift my gear from gear 1 to gear 2, however I cannot shift the gear...! my car suddenly stuck at the middle of the road !. Luckily I ,there is no car at the back.
I try and try pressing the clutch pedal and suddenly , I managed, to shift the gear...and the I drive my car to the nearest workshop. What a scary experienced.
At the workshop, the mechanic told me that there is a problem with my clutch plate. He said that I have to replace the clutch set. So what I can do huh..!. I have to leave my car the workshop...It took about 6 hours to replace the clutch.
The mechanic told me that he will replace the clutch with a better clutch, brand Daikin. He also told me that proton used Exeedy manufacture to make clutch for proton waja. He suggest that I use Daikin, it's more better. May this is his opinion from his experience. So I have no choice, so I change my clutch with brand Daikin.
When replace a clutch set, you also have to chance clutch plate, clutch cover, clutch bearing, flywheel oil seal and also gear oil. The clutch set cost me RM 350.00, Fly wheel oil seal RM45.00, Gear Oil RM 40.00 and the labour or workmanship cost me RM100.00. Total cost that have gone out from my handbag that day is RM535.00 !. peeu...
So what is the function of the clutch ?. To make you be able to shift the gear, for manual transmission car.
